Well Howdy Farmers.......Spring done sprung and the grass is getting blue'er. I hope your legions of fans are itching (and sneezin') to get out of the house to journey down to the Tiff to catch the CF LIVE. As for me, I hope to get up yonda' soon. Meanwhile, I'll have to settle for the City Farm box set on CD. Keep on pickin'...... JBU

Well Howdy Farmers.......What a DANVILLE PREMIERE, proving once again that, yes, the Dan River runs mighty deep (after heavy rains at least). An event like this brings out all generations of Danville folks and we need more of that (say, next year about this time?). I am sorry Holly Parton couldn't make the gig but that girl y'all brought.....you know, the "sequined one" Rhonda Vincent, was awfully talented. Farm Corr, Country Smo', Banjo Donnie, Urban Paul and Marvelous Marcus.....you delivered the musical goods and, more importantly, delivered the BIG check to the Danville Free Clinic. Keep on pickin'. I hope all is well on the tour bus. Don't forget to put plenty of quarters in the meter at Carnegie Hall. And remember, there's always a place for you in The Big D.

the stages have been put back, ferns sold, everything back to normal as normal goes.Martha,Kirk and I are still hearing the buzz from everyone there last Sat. Everybody loved seeing you guys as well as listening to great music.Donnie you did yourself proud.(Holly they're still talking about the wardrobe)All kidding aside I think Kirk is overwelmed by the results of your efforts in coming down and helping out.I think the total number of people was around 450-500. thats alot for down here.Again it was great. Seeing everyone it looked like a class reunion of several groups. Thanks Newton
